I’m surprised nobody warned you to watch this episode in Season 1. It probably should have been around episode 16/17.

Season 2 feels like it has been steadily accelerating toward something but watching this episode at this point of the series kills the momentum a little. It’s a good episode in itself but it’s bad for season pacing I feel.

2022-04-25 17:20:52 +0000 UTCThe television network cut season 1 short so this episode was never aired until partway through season 2, it is thought in response to fans hounding the network over a rumour of a “lost episode”. Its broadcast wasn’t planned at all but Fox (I think) slotted it into their schedule on a different day of the week from the regularly scheduled Fringe season 2. It wasn’t intended to be part of season 2, just a gift/bribe to shut the fans up. Of course, most of this is conjecture on the part of the Fringe fandom which, admittedly, does attract a few weird minds, including my own lol The inhabiting spirit, if that’s the right term, was said to have been part of seal team 6. They really exist and became famous a year after this episode was broadcast, when they killed Osama Bin Laden. I did expect the Fringe conspiracy theorists to make more of that than they did, but they let me down lol

2021-09-01 21:02:02 +0000 UTCAgreed, not sure why they showed this episode out of order but it was kinda ironic that it dealt with resurrection and brought back Charlie with no explaination! A cool episode nonetheless and Walter being Walter was worth the confusion.
