True, although my problems with Delena have little to do with how they got together and more about how they are as a couple. Idk, to me Stydia makes more sense as platonic soulmates than a romantic couple. I never saw lydia look as stiles as boyfriend material. But then again, I'm not really a ship person so there might be signs that I miss since I'm not focusing on that. I can see why people like them together though

Stefan and Elena were saying I love you within 2 dates they were sleeping together. The slow burn is what Damon and Elena had. I have wanted Stydia together since Styles said he was in love with her since the 5th grade. He knew more about her and how smart she was when she was pretending not to be. It took her some time to reciprocate but I saw it coming.
