At the end of the day, it's also just a tv show. We know that the Garcia hacking scene was meant to be comedic, so we don't take it as seriously. On the other hand, the police questioning the BAU and their usefulness is probably realistic,c but it's also kind of overdone writing-wise. It feels like we have cops hating on the BAU every other episode, so I totally get why it is annoying to watch sometimes - doesn't mean at all that the BAU as portrayed in the show is without fault, but again, most of the time, the faults are more for comedic or dramatic effect for the audience, so it's not as bothersome to watch :P

Such a good season finale. The cliffhanger is so good as well.... honestly, almost reaches the season 1 finale for me.

Yes, I see your point. In reality local cops are just doing the best they can with what they have. My issue here is not whether the cops like the BAU or not. What annoyed me is that they spent so much energy questioning whether profiling works or not instead of using them as a resource. They too seemed to be more concerned with whether the FBI was taking over the case, or wondering why they were there in the first place. I understand why they didn't care for the FBI since it was that lady who contacted them and brought them in and in way it does make local cops feel as though they are not doing a good enough job catching this killer. It's frustrating, and I get that. If I'm completely honest I get more annoyed with the writers at times because they do have this tendency of portraying cops as inept. They look for opportunities to have a member of the BAU show just how good they are at profiling and just making them look stupid. But yeah, not saying that the BAU is perfect because they have done a lot of questionable and unethical things. They think they are above the law, like what Garcia did the last episode. Hack into someone's personal computer to get sealed records and then threaten to get her fired by sending pictures of her personal files to her boss. Like ... that's so wrong! But at the same time it is this type of stuff that makes it entertaining because its so not based in reality.

This is why i like Morgan he sensed why the cops are mad about the fbi being there

As u can see the FBI is the problem here not the cops. The cops u dragged here had to deal with that agent she gave a bad perception of the FBI to the cops. When I first saw this episode I knew why the cops didn’t like the fbi cuz of the lead agent. She’s not caring for the victims first she’s worried about her job she was pushing the cops around for her own benefit

Sometimes U give the cops to much crap when the BAU NOTORIOUSLY break laws damn near every case. The cops are portrayed the best cuz the work the do is legal how many times does Garcia illegally hack into stuff. Elle murdered someone and Hotch let her go he didn’t investigate he did nothing just saying. Hotch has arrested unsubs for less and if Hotch got stuck in a case he wouldn’t let the person go like he did Elle. We are supposed to like the FBI over the cops but I thought about it differently if this was real life how man criminals would walk cuz of the BAU breaking protocol and laws to arrest someone.
