Well, don't get your hopes up too high on a partnership between Maze and Eve just yet. Do you really think these writers aren't going to torture you with missed approaches and mismatched timing of relationships given their behavior so far? Connecting story lines - yes these writers are masters at at. Multiple levels and meanings to everything too. It's unusual to find such genius at being both emotional and cerebral at the same time... I usually abhor the common garden variety of "character development" in series'. But here it is done without making you feel nauseous.

I think the show does a great job with characters and connecting storylines and in that same episode both Maze and Eve were struggling to connect and kind of being overbearing with the one person they have? I cant wait to see what happens next

But honestly we already have seen they got along really good when they went out together for a day.... I never made this connection so early as you did here! But the two of them are kinda weird as a team - they are sort of "cousins in law" - Maze is Lillith's daughter and Lillith was Adam's first wife... And yes the "prophecy" could have multiple meanings.... is Eve his first love? Or is Chloe? Is evil being released something bad or good? The show writers tell us in some later interviews what they really meant by "evil shall be released", but in the meantime they posit or lead us on various interpretations of the "prophecy"... Minor correction: Cain was fully human when Lucifer killed him. His curse of immortality had been lifted. The "Angels are not allowed to kill humans" is a rule or command of God - not that they cannot, just that defying God's commandments has consequences. Amenadiel is responsible for indirectly killing several by bringing a damned soul back from hell to try to kill Lucifer. (so it seems both Angels and Humans can make bad choices and do bad things) (and isn't it interesting that the "consequences" for defying commandments are self inflicted? By both Humans and Angels!) Yes, the devil and angel on each shoulder whispering in your ears motif was most interesting with Chloe and Eve over Lucifer's shoulder in Tiernan's office. This motif is repeated several times throughout the show - rather ironically I might add.
