2023-02-02 05:44:39 +0000 UTCSuch a generational divide the way you guys are so focused on the racism/sexism when that's the least of what's wrong with these terrible people.

2021-11-08 02:05:27 +0000 UTCAs much as I love this movie I disagree that all the survivors become monstrous sociopaths. People are naturally inclined to cooperate and organize. That's one of the reasons things were still organized in my zombie movie.

2021-11-08 01:08:25 +0000 UTCBest line from the trilogy: "When hell is full, the dead will walk the Earth."

2021-11-08 00:30:27 +0000 UTCSome background/clarification. George Romero made the black and white "Night of the Living Dead" in 1968. He made an awesome sequel in 1978 called "Dawn of the Dead", much of which takes place in a shopping mall. This one was re-made in 2004 by Zack Snyder (based on a script by James Gunn who would go on to make Guardians of the Galaxy) and is also a decent movie. Romero's final part of the dead trilogy is the one you're watching, "Day of the Dead". I always specify the 1985 version because the title has been re-used by a much more recent and truly awful zombie movie. Fun fact: Romero has said that he got the idea for a worldwide zombie outbreak from the 1966 Vincent Price movie "Last Man on Earth", which was based on the Richard Matheson novel "I Am Legend". This novel would be made into a movie twice more, in 1971 as "The Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston and in 2007 as "I Am Legend" starring Wil Smith.
