I’m not really a fan of Scalia. For me it’s simply that I really thought they had a nice brother/sister relationship going in all the previous seasons. Like a real pack. It was a shock for me. I think also a part of me was waiting for Kira to return. Her character was done so dirty in this show. But honestly one thing I’ve noticed about teen wolf is none of the ships are particularly strong. This may be a real unpopular opinion but I always felt the writing for romance was weak compared to other shows. Which is fine cause the supernatural and character storylines are (usually) amazing.

I am so glad I put Thiam on your radar! Haha they're just so fun and would be so good together! So, uh, most of this comment is just gonna be me ranting about Thiam because I am obsessed... So, yeah... If you're not interested, don't worry... Haha For starters, I love that the Pack are trusting Theo enough to have him go with Liam and to have his back when needed. (I love it even more that he DOES have his back when needed...) And that Liam wanted Theo to go with him ("You made the plan. You wanted me to help.") And Theo realising that something is up with Liam, and that it's more than just Nolan being there, he realises it's the place. And I just love that. (Also, the fact that he knew Nolan beat Liam up... How does he know this? Did Liam tell him?!) But just the fact that he realised so quickly that it was more than just that which was bothering him, and actually asked him what was up. Also the fact that he literally could've just left Liam to get caught by the Hunters, multiple times, but he didn't. He not only stuck with him through it all, but he would've had to drag/carry his unconscious body back to his truck after knocking him out to keep him from killing Nolan. And the whole thing with him not letting him kill Nolan too. THAT is pretty big. He easily could've let him do it. One less Hunter to worry about, technically no blood on his hands from it. But he didn't, because he knew Liam didn't actually wanna kill him. And not only did he stop him, he assured him that he did his best not to kill Nolan, by punching the wall instead. He didn't have to do that. He easily could've just been like "Yeah, you did nearly kill him. You're lucky I stopped you." but instead he assured him that he was trying not to do it, that he DOES have control, even when it doesn't seem like it. And then him talking to him about it, pointing out that the Anukite is affecting him too and that he really needs to figure out how to get himself under control. Liam's flashback really hurt me though. For multiple reasons. One, LIAM WAS A HUMAN AT THAT POINT AND BRETT A WEREWOLF! That had to hurt a lot! Two, they took him to that Zoo for a reason, they put him in a cage for a reason. There was literally a sign that said "Dangerous Animals." Knowing that Brett often made fun of Liam's Anger Issues (and that others on the Team likely did too), that was done on purpose. But it also makes me feel worse about Brett's death. Because he and Liam have this awful history. He bullied him, clearly. They just did not get along at all. Then they started to get along a bit better, they were getting there. But they never truly got any closure before Brett died. And that must feel awful for Liam (especially as he blames himself for his death...) But seriously! That scene pissed me off so much! Another thing about it though, the way the You's were echoed and it was very focused on the blame being put on Liam. That's been a thing with him from the start. "This is your fault" scratched into his old Coach's car, the way he yelled it at Scott after he bit him, Brett said "And it'll be all your fault" when we first saw him, and he clearly blames himself for a lot of other things. I just find it interesting that they kept that going, even if it wasn't on purpose (which is unlikely as it just doesn't feel like something they'd accidentally keep doing with the same character...) But I have always wondered about Liam's past, ya know? From what I've read about IED, it is VERY likely that his bio dad was abusive... (Especially considering he has never been mentioned and it was immediately made clear he has a Step Dad...) Back to Thiam though! I love the scene where they're fighting. How Liam starts off so confused, and Theo's just loving it. Then the "You broke my nose. Twice.........." "Three times." moment! I just love them so much! And the "What? I like History." "I'm impressed." Moment too! THE WAY THEO LOOKS AT LIAM! Also... Jeff Davis has admitted he regrets not putting them together... So there's hope... Maybe he'll do it in the Movie! Haha And Scalia! I love them too! They're just so cute and their Chemistry is really good! So many people don't like them together because they think they're rushed or don't make sense or because Malia is Stiles' ex (BS considering Stiles is Malia's ex and those same people are fine with Lydia dating him...) But I just really enjoy their relationship. I felt it was natural and just works really well. They started as friends, and that friendship grew into something more. And they balance each other out too. Malia is able to use violence when needed, and Scott is able to calm her down when violence isn't the answer... I just love them! (Season 6 really brought some great ships!) That ending... I remember watching this when it aired and having to wait a week to find out who was shot and if they survived. It was a nightmare! There was so much speculation over who it was, did they survive? What Scott's reaction would be. Just everything. With Melissa, I feel like she's almost forgotten that Scott can actually die. I think the fact that he's "died" a few times has maybe got to her a bit and made her forget that that's not always gonna be the case. Like, the time back in S4 when they slowed his heart basically all the way in order to trick the Benefactor, and then when Theo killed him in S5. He came back both those times and I think it's possible that it's made it seem less possible for him to actually die. I also think she might kinda be forcing herself not to think about the fact that he could die, because she knows he's not gonna run and so it's best for her to support that so he's not afraid to go to her for help if he needs it. But I do agree that it's kinda weird that she doesn't seem more worried about him... Also, the moment when Liam tackles Nolan off the edge of the like, cliff thing. It's obviously horrible in context as it's very clear Liam isn't doing so great with his control. But just the fact that he was literally JUST telling Theo he's fine and in control, and then goes and does that. I love that moment so much! And the look on Theo's face as he rushes over to look down at where they fell to. He's just like "WTF?! YOU CALL THIS BEING IN CONTROL?! WHAT IS IT LIKE WHEN YOU'RE NOT IN CONTROL, LIAM?! Dammit! I have to go stop him from committing murder now. This isn't how I planned my day!"
