True, but I feel like its always better to know. If you get rejected then at least you know where you stand but I understand that its awkward. I think the fact that they work so closely together that makes it harder.

It wasn't great that he didn't wanna invite Rosa, but it's understandable. Oh, Jake... I get what you mean about how he should maybe tell her anyway because then she'd have the choice, but I guess he could be worried that she'd reject him and it'd make work awkward. Plus, no one wants to get rejected. And like you said, it could be seen as selfish to tell her just as she's starting to date someone. I do agree that telling her would've been helpful as she might have feelings for him and knowing he likes her could make her realise that's what she wants. But at the same time, it could also just make things super weird between them and ruin their friendship. (Plus, it's been established that Jake isn't great with things getting serious...)
