I adored this cute little thing between Reid and Austin! Such potential! They have the same kind of immediate spark that JJ has with Will. Also that line where he says "I gave one girl the profile and she asked if I was the unsub" will never not make me laugh! XD He's so adorably awkward!

I think this shows character flaws of both Hotch and Jordan. Emily have already told us that Hotch doesn't always trust women as much as men and he definitly doesn't trust the new members easily. Right now, He is comparing Jordan to JJ which is unfair. And Jordan, who already got into some problems with not thinking about her words, decided to make up a lie in front of a grieving mother and her boss that could have backfired again. This shows that she is trying so hard to prove that she can do this job that she might not learn from her earlier misstakes. Hotch was too hard on her. Jordan should maybe have tried something else before resorting to lying to a victims family.

Another reason why Hotch pisses me off like dude Elle is a MURDERER u know it, the team probably knows it and the fans know it every time I have watched this episode I wanted to smack the taste out of his mouth. Garcia breaks felonies on the daily. Elle got away with murder instead of doing something telling his higher up’s he left her go so every time a team member does something minute like telling a white lie that is small in nature he loses it on them it makes me want to smack the fire out him.

John Walker Is That Dude

I love that Reid is framed as this awkward guy who can't get a girlfriend, but he actually constantly has girls liking him and he's the one most of the fans are obsessed with. It's great! About Austin going outside, it's possible she didn't have service inside or something. But I do agree it was odd that she just went outside like that without us having an explanation as to why. I completely agree about Jordan too. Her lie wasn't a big deal and others have done worse, yet Hotch acted like it was the biggest mistake in the world. As do a lot of fans. So many people use this as a reason to hate her, but I really liked that she made mistakes and all that, it shows that the job isn't easy. I adored the scenes with Emily and Jordan in the Club with Viper too. It's something I absolutely love about this show, and that's the fact that the women are so supportive of each other and are actually friends. Like, so many shows pit the female characters against each other and can't really let them be friends, but on Criminal Minds they're just all great friends and they all get along and support each other and it's great. Plus, they're all badass! What happened when the Unsub was a kid was so messed up though! Like, I get what was happening was inappropriate for kids of their age, but he was NOT her kid and it was NOT her place to punish him for it. But at the same time, I sort of understand it? Like, imagine walking into a scene like that and your daughter telling you that she was forced into it. Anyone would react badly to that, and it's understandable. Still not right that she took it upon herself to punish him in such a way, she should've told his Mother what happened, they should've sat the kids down and asked what happened and figured it out without doing something like that to someone else's kid. I can understand firing the Mother, or at least asking that she doesn't bring her son along anymore, and I can understand being angry. But it was so wrong. And the girl! Lying about that shit is just awful. For one thing, it can destroy the guys life and it's so unfair. But also, it's part of what makes people not believe actual victims! It's just horrible.
