2022-04-20 18:13:18 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you enjoyed this, it's one of my favourite horror films. I know some people think it's a bit slow with not enough action but I love the pacing. The opening credits scene with the camera floating slowly across the city, looking down as the music plays, sets the tone and the pacing so smoothly, I feel. The film kind of drifts along at the same, slow and steady pace, leading through various dreamlike horrors on its inexorable, unhurried way to the chilling conclusion. I think it's a very sly and seductive movie that really surprises the heck out of you and then gently soothes your brow and shushes you back into the trance. It creeps me out still and I've seen it many times. I love it! lol
