2021-11-21 05:38:04 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if this detail was intentional by the showrunners or not, but is it any surprise that this Wessenrein group was a bunch of pudgy white guys who probably need to get laid. Their "tribunal" came across (to me) as some live action D&D quest that obviously went too far. Sadly, this also came across as authentic. Neo-Nazis, the KKK, Proud Boys, skinheads, Westboro Baptist Church, InCels,QAnon: to any reasonable person, they are ridiculous and stupid That doesn't make them any less dangerous. In the past, they their actions would be condemned by society, their actions shunned by people regardless of their religious or political leanings. Today, thanks to social media, these groups are thriving and their ideas embraced by some politicians and media figures, It's sad and disgusting. I guess those scenes triggered me a little, my apologies. On the plus side, the end scenes with all our Scoobies together was heart warming. So glad that Wu is part of the gang and it was great to see Sean and Monroe get medieval on some asses, but it was awesome to see Rosalee (congrats on finally getting her name right LOL) go bad ass bitch on that punk ass Wessen. Juliette even got in the action and, for some reason, I'm less concerned and more intrigued now about where this Hexenbeast thing is gonna go. This was one of the more exciting episodes of the show thus far and we all know who deserves the credit for that: Bud.
