I don't think Jordan realizing she can't do the job was convenient - she was always going to be a temporary replacement for JJ and even if she had excelled at it and felt like she was doing a great job, JJ would have still returned :) Strangely, I don't remember Jordan's arc being so short, nor do I remember her being so abrasive, but honestly, her breakdown to Rossi always made me wish she stuck around a bit. I feel there was more to her character! In the end, I think Jordan's arc was truly more about showing how hard JJ's job actually is and how underappreciated she kind of is. We rarely see what her job entails and how it is honestly even more difficult than the profilers' - she sees the same things they do, but she also has to deal with the press, grieving family, the responsibility of which cases they handle and the guilt of maybe choosing wrong...

But it's just so heartbreaking when people don't truly realise exactly what they've done. And that moment where he realises that he killed his family is just so sad! And I LOVE that Morgan tells him they're gonna get him some help. Because that IS truly what he needs. He needs to pay for his crimes, but he can do that while also getting help for his issues that he clearly has. I love Mitch Pileggi though, he really is good. He's Samuel Campbell on Supernatural, and he plays Bonham Walker on the new Walker show. (Basically he's played Jared Padalecki's Grandfather and Father... Haha) I also love that Jordan realises she can't do this job. It's been clear that she's been struggling with it from the start, but she's been so determined to prove that she can do it. It's just such an emotionally exhausting job. And that moment where she realises that he killed those two boys after watching her Press Conference really shows how hard it must be, because what are you supposed to feel in that moment? That is something that's gonna stay with her for the rest of her life, even though it WASN'T her fault. No matter how many people tell her it wasn't her fault, she's not gonna ever truly be able to believe that. And I love her moment with Rossi at the end of the case outside the house. I love how he assures her it wasn't her fault and that they were dead before they even had the case, and how he calls her kiddo. I just love Rossi and how much he cares about the people on the Team. And JJ bringing baby Henry to see everyone at the end was so sweet! Love seeing JJ again obviously, but I also just love that moment. Derek holding Henry was so sweet, and Emily and Garcia teasing him and it was just amazing! I love them all so much! <333
