Really great episode. Hit home for me because my parents were experts at keeping secrets. I was the Russ in our family, so I could sympathize with that character. He was put in a terrible position and it took a tragedy to fix things. Brennan had every right to feel like she did but being the person she is, changed her thinking when presented new facts. That's why I like scientists :) Emily gave a helluva performance in this episode. I've only seen her in a couple of other things (including Spiderman 2) but she really is a great actress. I'm sure we're just getting started with the mystery of her parents, but hopefully it won't fully take over the narrative, as I enjoy the cases of the week.
