“You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain…” -- Harvey Dent (aka Two Face) in "The Dark Knight". True, that's DC and this is Marvel but a good line is a good line. And yes, the morality of being a vigilante is a question often addressed in the superhero genre. It makes the most sense in situations like this, where the government that should handle it is completely corrupt and ineffective. What's a citizen to do?
