Guilt is the worst

Comments

we've already had prolly my top ep few eps back with the reaper. . . but the finale this season is easily top 5 as well

This isn't an episode that's really stuck with me, but it was good and it did make me sad. Guilt really is a powerful thing. Projecting blame is horrible though. Especially if by doing that you're hurting people. And especially if the blame really belongs to you. The whole Doctor/Patient Confidentiality thing is so complicated to me. Like with this episode, like you said, if someone has murder fantasies, even if it's kind of a normal thing to go through, I feel like it's something that should be acknowledged. Keep them longer, keep an eye on them, maybe alert the Police if they're going to be out and about...

Its interesting how the two episodes where the murders are focused on cars or road-rage is about white, around middle age men who feels guilty about hurting their family and has some kind of altered mental states/hallucinations. There was the man who's daughter was run over and the guilt drove him to kill his family before going on the roads. Then its this guy. He feels guilty about killing his girlfriend when he was driving, so he goes out on the road and kills others. It feels very similar. I wonder if there is something they based both these episodes on.
