This was the episode that had me knowing I was totally invested for the whole run. I'd already brought the first 7 seasons as one massive boxset as it was, so it was good job really. This was before streaming services were what they are now obviously. Considering I brought it with little to no knowledge of the show, having never seen a single episode. I just knew I loved cop procedural shows with a hook. I'd already fallen in love with the show, but this fully validated my investment. I just marathoned my way through in no time with one really good to totally awesome episode after another. I used to rewatch it all the time. It'd been a few years since I've rewatched it. So this is really fun to see someone see these great episode for the first time. Lots of absolute belters to come!
