The idea that someone needs to be missing for 24 or 48 hours before the police will investigate is a movie myth. Especially in the case of a missing child, the police would get involved immediately.

He also played Dr. Vataber in my zombie short, Universal Dead. You've also seen him as Baron Afanas in What We Do in the Shadows.
