Lucifer has all this planned out in episode 8, when he was doing this huge whiteboard to get back at Dan for shooting him! Did you notice the tune Lucifer was playing when Dan came in? It was a classical tune in the style of an homage to Looney Tunes cartoons - like Bugs Bunny outsmarting Elmer Fudd! And Lucifer's ultimate jackass revenge ended up helping Dan in the end. That line really cracked me up - "Because you fucking shot me Daniel"!
