I think you are missing the point with Eve and Maze and the ring - if Eve would just wear the ring for a while for Maze to process her feelings - then the show would not have any conflict to resolve! Yes it was emotional, but on a scale of 1 to 10, this was only at 2 or maybe 3 compared to the remaining season 5 episodes. Things will get dialed up to 10 or 11 before the season is over!
