5.15 - IS THIS REALLY HOW ITS GOING TO END?!

Yes, it is a testament to how incredibly gifted and talented these writers are - that they could get the audience so invested in the character that everyone cries buckets of tears. (well a few suppressed individuals try to joke or laugh to cover how they feel, but normal people are devastated by Dan's death) Keep your tissues handy - the emotional level peaked at 11 here, but does not go down much in the finale.

2022-03-09 23:51:44 +0000 UTCWell, here we are...the bottom. It doesn't get any sadder than this. They did not pull any punches. As hard as it was, I commend the show for going for it. Dan was the most interesting character on the show. I would argue that he had the biggest arc of anyone on the show. If you would have told me at the start of the show that Dan's death would crush me, I would have laughed at you.
