Hayley is literally one of a kind. She not only gave birth to the very first, whatever Hope is, but she is also the ONLY hybrid of her kind. Plus she’s been accepted by all the Mikaelsons, and she’s friends with Marcel. The question is, why wouldn’t he want to talk to her? She’s pretty fucking unique at this point. And she’s only 20/21? Compared to the hundreds of years old rest of the party.

I genuinely didn’t understand why Tristan would care to speak with her. But all in all I really enjoyed this episode. Breaks away from very Mikaelson centric plots are needed sometimes. I loved seeing Marcel display how observant and quick thinking he is. I hate when they talk about ‘allowing’ and ‘not allowing’ Marcel to do things. He’s grown.
