Yeah, it's horrible. Cuz this episode made it VERY clear that Sam does need his soul. And he's clearly not in his right mind to agree to that. But at the same time, I hate that Dean forced it on him when Sam made it very clear he didn't want it back. I think it's because throughout the entire series Sam literally never has any autonomy. Never has. I mean, from before he was even a thought he was a bargaining chip for Azazel to bring John back to life, then at 6 months old he was infected with Demon Blood, his entire life he was dragged around and forced into hunting monsters when he made it very clear that wasn't what he wanted, his whole life was manipulated by Demons so he would break the Final Seal and free Lucifer and then become his Vessel. Now this. He never has any autonomy and so it makes things like this so much worse for me, because it's just another thing added on even if it was necessary... :( Also... Poor Adam... Dean really didn't hesitate in choosing to just leave him in Hell when given the choice between him and Sam... Hahaha
