Season 6 is good, and you would expect all the character arcs get some kind of resolution.... but the writing is not as good as past seasons in my view. It's kinda like there was a severe winter - and the story road has a lot of plot holes now. You may or may not agree by the time you get to the final episode's conclusion. Don't get me wrong it is enjoyable and satisfying - but this time loop stuff - and the Rory/missing Daddy thing as a plot line is a bit like swiss cheese. (holy, or is that holey?) (sorry bad pun) You may be right, if one subscribes to the notion that Rory's past cannot be altered - then the way the show proceeds makes perfect sense (and some ongoing threads get a bow tied into them) - but I still feel there's holes in the main time travel theme. (which you won't see until the very end) (well here is an analogy I can share without spoiler - Amandiel could or can slow time and God stopped it - so manipulating time by celestials is established - they are or can be "out of time" from our earthly plane - so why they have to stick to strict earthly time flow and timelines in this season makes little sense or it's weak writing) In defense of the writers though, season 5 was to be the final season and last minute Netflix wanted a 6th - so they had to concoct this season rapidly and without as much care and forethought or umpteen thousand revisions as was likely the way the previous seasons germinated - so coming up with this narrative on the fly, is certainly way better than I could do!
