4.5 NOVATION pt.1 |  pt.2

All the differences of a Universe without Peter… The season so far has basically been a sci-fi version of, It’s a Wonderful Life. Is it ok that I prefer some aspects of this Universe to the original? Lincoln, for example, has really shone for me in this season. I don’t want to go back to a Universe without him in the Fringe division.

Caradoc Elmet

There was just one shapeshifter, and she can change back into anyone she has already "stolen" for a lack of a better word. She also stole the dark haired FBI agent up on the roof, she threw his body in the water, not her.

YES! Finally Peter is back, the show just didn't feel complete without him (which was the objective to be fair), but man his road is not going to be easy. So we got confirmation that the point of divergence of the timelines is the missing rescue from the observer at the lake and even more surprising it looks like in this timeline they don't even know who the observers are based on Astrid's comment, man that scene with Peter trying to figure out why nobody remembers him is so heartbreaking. I absolutely agree with you on what you said about the show respecting the audience's intelligence and not over explaining things when not strictly necessary, it just makes the show so much more captivating to figure out things on your own and it's a much more rewarding viewing experience. Also loved your reaction to the Peter and Walter scene at the end, i love how much this timeline gives that relationship even more depth than before, you'll see in the next few episode. The line that the scientist repeats throughout the episode ''some things are not ours to tamper with, some things are god's'' is the same thing Carla Warren (Walter's old lab assistant) says to Walter when he tells her he wants to cross over to save the other Peter, it's interesting that in this timeline it comes from William Bell. One other thing that i love about this episode in regards to Peter is that from the moment he realizes that nobody remembers him he kind of reverts to season 1 Peter with the cockyness and bravado that he had back then and it shows you that it was always just a mask the he put on to mask his fears when he's not in control of the situation just like he isn't now. That's it, i have once again left a stupidly long comment when i didn't mean too, sorry for that (not really sorry XD), can't wait for the next episodes, good stuff is coming! P.S. Really loved your energy in this reaction, i love how into the show you are right now, keep up those theories maybe one of them will come true in the end, but expect A LOT of twists because things are gonna get crazy this season.
