I disagree with the "Juliette is not dumb" .....she had everything and threw it away , because she didn't tell the man who she new LOVED her, when it first happened. Adalind has never been loved, so she doesn't know how or what Nick feels. Nick is hiding the stick stuff because he isn't sure what it is.
