If I remember right, the actor also flat out refused to learn any martial arts or train for any of his fight scenes, so the stunt people had to get really creative. So yeah, just a terrible choice for this role in every way.

2022-06-26 13:33:00 +0000 UTCThe music when Luke walked in to the fight… just no was that supposed to be cool? It was so unnatural. And yes Danny Rand is…. I just really can’t stand the performance it’s cringe inducing. I’m sure the actor is great in other things but this role just didn’t work.

It would have technically made sense, as this show is much more of a direct continuation of Iron Fist season 1 than it is of Daredevil season 2, no matter what anyone will tell you. But you still dodged a bullet there. Just imagine this, minus Matt, Jessica and Luke and then just several times worse overall, which is saying something.
