This is my favorite of what I like to call "Big budget B-Movies". It's gloriously ridiculous! No need to ponder the reality, just shut off the brain and enjoy the show. Travolta and Cage were the perfect pair for this and John Woo was the perfect director. All 3 were at the height of their popularity and they made a masterpiece of mayhem. This movie had no right to be as fun as it was.
