For Keanu, Speed was just another movie. he was already firmly established when this came out. It had a much more profound effect on Sandra Bullock's career. And yes, that was Billy Idol doing the credit sequence song, called (cleverly) "Speed". Great song. This movie also has the worst sequel ever made. Keanu was smart enough not to do it but I think Sandra hadn't figured out that you can say no to things. Do NOT watch it.
