The only thing I found when searching for the reason is someone referring to this as a Fringe 'nutty 19' episode after season 2's Brown Betty (ep 19 if you take out the season 1 episode that they put in season 2) and season 3' Lysergic Acid Diethylamide which were both out there and not the norm episodes.
