You are right, a lot of characters on television now especially female "badass" characters unfortunately either are all in your face, or the writers feel the need for them to crap on the male characters to feel strong or something. Shaw is different she's awesome in her own right, and her character is written/acted so well. Safe to say she's one of my favorite characters. Glad you liked the season premiere, lots of amazing things to come, can't wait!
