2022-11-05 23:36:17 +0000 UTCI think if I am remembering correctly the actual murder of Deputy Director Kirby was described as quick. The subsequent brutal treatment of his remains, that outwardly looks indicative of crazed killer. Was thus meant as a warning to others. So I guess that worked as it's shaped your perception of him. It definitely does speak to Max's personally as well though, that can not be denied. But Max wasn't a violent criminal until they were forced to go on the run. Hardly saints no, being that they did rob banks. But also got involved with the wrong crew that shaped their future. Max has a deep desire to make up for his absence. Everyone is basically OK with letting him try that. I think this is meant to seem like compassionate actions on the part of her friends. Because in the long run, that might be good for Temperance and their relationship. Absolutely, perhaps asking her if she would OK with it would be the best way to consider her feelings. Of course she'd likely have said no and would be continuing to keep Max at arms length to protect herself. That's perhaps understandable behaviour. Temperance's reactions are more likely a mixture of, lets say nature vs nurture. But as any spectrum related diagnosis has never been categorically explicit. But some of her experiences have been. She is attempting to push Max away before he abandons her again. That much is abundantly clear. As Temperance isn't even aware of the obvious reasons for her actions a lot of the time. A gentle push by her friends might not be the worst thing for her. In conclusion, I personally think they are thinking of her a whole lot. I found it very fascinating, how some your reasonings to how you partly felt about Max. Were maybe being influenced by the way others treated him. But also based on your conclusions of who he is and what he did. When those conclusions were a little inaccurate. Regardless, what was even more interesting, was that was the impression that the character wanted to give the world about him for that warning to be considered affective. I'd say myself, the main moral difference between Max and Booth is the Law. Max killed one person outside the Law. Booth has killed an undisclosed amount of people within the law. Both were protecting people. That's a fine almost transparent line to walk sometimes.

2022-11-05 16:01:27 +0000 UTCI’m not sure why you think that Max tortured the deputy Director, he killed him instantly and then did things to the body so that anybody else that wanted to try to go after his kids are basically warned.
