#SixSeasonAndAMovie is a callback to Season2 episode21 where Abed shouted it in reference to a show he was watching (The Cape, a show airing around the same time, that got cancelled after 6 episodes...). Community wasn't doing amazing at the time so the fans picked it up as a slogan to show their support and try to keep it going. So this message at the end was the show creators telling fans to keep it up. We got six seasons (barely), but we've all waited for the movie since season 6 in 2015. And they just announced recently in Sep 2022 that it will finally officially happen! Coming in 2023 hopefully! Another reason it feels a bit like a series finale is that the shows creator, Dan Harmon, got fired after season 3. Behind the scenes arguments with Chevy Chase among other stuff. Fans were not particularly happy with it and it all culminated in Harmon getting re-hired for season 5. So if Season 4 seems a bit different, that is why. Some fans have very strong opinions on S4, but honestly in hindsight it's not that bad. Just missing some key elements that would raise it to the level we've gotten used to in S1-3. You should make up your own mind, but its good to keep this context in mind, as the show will make some meta comments on it in episodes. Especially ones Harmon comes back.
