I agree flawed characters are perhaps often more interesting to watch. Though one might want to also look at it as a character constantly seeking perfection and moral superiority as means of self-identity, is also flawed to a degree. A proclivity for an image of higher moral standing, one might say has some narcissistic tendencies attached. Particularly when it's used as a stick to wack others with. Although I think they went a tad too hard and fast with this fall from self-imposed grace/glass houses swing on Cameron's character. It does develop her a little more.
