To answer ur question about shouldn’t they burst into flames I always go to season 2’s finale where Dahlia and Esther died peacefully, embracing each other and they didn’t die screaming it made us believe that it was pain free.

Klaus is from one of the original wolf packs that the hollow created and with being an original vampire as well makes him a problem for all vampires including Marcel. Klaus’ wolf form is what would happen if u a person a gun with a hair trigger cuz u never know when it will go off.
