Also Eliza, I appreciate how throughout the season, you asked to be called out when you’re being biased towards certain characters. I mean most of the time I completely agree with your criticism towards certain characters, but other times I think you come off as a complete “hater”, lol. Don’t get me wrong, I tend to hate on certain characters unnecessarily at times also and my friend would call me out, so don’t take that in the wrong way. I’ve come across other channels where they’re so biased against certain characters, but they get very defensive when called out on their bias.

2023-03-18 00:11:48 +0000 UTCThis season was just ok for me. It’s like the writers didn’t know how to develop the characters. It’s like each season they purposely make a character whom the audience previously loved to very unlikeable just for entertainment. For instance, last season Booth was very annoying with his judgmental attitude, but this season he’s more tolerable. This season, it’s like they completely did a turnabout with Angela’s character, when she was very well liked the first 3 seasons. Deep down to her core, Angela is a great friend to have. I mean not everyone would risk going to jail by not testifying against their best friend’s father knowing they might possibly end up being convicted. I think if she did testify & Max was convicted, she knew in the long run Brennan might resent her. Regarding Cam, they lost the ball there too. I think they should have left her being firm in demanding they follow the rules, that way they’d show her the respect that that she deserves. I don’t know, it’s like they’re trying so hard to create a more comedy side to the show, but instead they end up creating more flaws in their characters. The MVP this season for me is Sweets; hopefully they don’t destroy his character in the upcoming seasons.

A book about an alternate reality staring her and Booth as a married couple. I always felt that the “dream” said more about her , than anything else. It’s not like she ever thought Booth was actually listening.

2023-03-17 02:01:31 +0000 UTCYeah, I can understand the disappointment with this one. It is that iconic 2000's American TV show formula, where the characters are dropped into said alternate world / dreamstate / musical, or other contrived situation to imagine the characters in another environment. I'd be pushed to think of many, if any, comparable idioms in British television. Unless that was the whole concept and not a recycled writers template for an episode of the week show. Honestly, they can be fun, and I make no acception with this one. But I will decree that it is hardly the preferred choice for a finale. My favourite part of the reaction was when it seemed to me that you began to admonish Jack's character as having no say in the detective game. But then trailed off. Maybe because you were about to rubbish the whole premise for the show Castle. 🤔 And that doesn't even take place in a dreamstate. 🤣🤣🤣😜
