In the comics, Billy Russo is a character with a disfigured face called Jigsaw. The mask he is wearing is also a reference. I believe The Pilgrim is also a comics character. He kind of reminds me of Proctor from Banshee because of the weird religious angle and calm demeanor. It was also announced this week that Jon Bernthal will be returning as Frank Castle in the new Daredevil series. I'm both interested and worried about this new series. I fear it could be a case of "be careful what you wish for" or ot could be, like Hawkeye, a much needed return to more grounded stories. We'll see.....
