2023-03-31 04:00:56 +0000 UTCBlimey, there's a lot to think about with this one. I do think Cameron's tiresome indignation was more than a bit irritating this episode. Cuddy's response was brilliant. Because Allison kinda gave off the vibe that she expected her to just agree with her. Not getting the response she thought was coming, and was basically was told to suck it up and get on with it, was awesome. Her problem was being far too passive. Waiting a month for House to read and sign it. whereas Foreman didn't care if House liked it. He likely just got him to sign it and didn't seek his approval at all. Foreman was a harsh twat at the end, but that was maybe brought out more so by Cameron's constant attempts to play the moral arbiter, like she often likes to. The case. Gees, that's a bankruptcy of a relationship on show there. I found myself feeling two different degrees of sympathy for Max. First off it's because we don't know if she knows or not. Then it's very different when we find out all the motivations behind her decision. She's basically doing a good thing, in part, but for a manipulative reason. So you can't fully condemn her. But that's not love there, that's called exerting control. Why does she wanna leave this lady again? 🤔 At least Hannah is dealing with the innate instincts of self-preservation. Max's understanding of the notion of love for another might allude to what else has affected her progess in ending their relationship, or maybe not. We can choose to read more out of that conclusion than is on the screen if we want to play that game. The lesson on show, on all counts, is to stop waiting for people to do what you perceive to be the right thing. People will always do what is in their best interest, a very high percentage of the time.
