Poor Sweets. Bones and Booth kinda sort of bond over mocking and discrediting his process and efforts. It's pretty messed up really, certainly not professional and definitely not mature. But also it's not all the time. I think it's at its worse when they are together. It's perhaps now an over used mechanism for lighthearted character frictions. Because, as you pointed out, Brennan had that moment of progess. But honestly, that isn't the tone they are going for a lot of the time. Gone are the times when Bones and Booth are at more constant loggerheads. The unification of the team is more position one, and they are little less adversarial amongst themselves. Sweets and the interns are more the outsiders that cop it, but everyone loves Wendell!
