You were definitely right about the pacing of the first episode. I also feel like more time should have been spent before the magic exam. The setup was good, but underdeveloped. The characters' introductions and story were rushed in order to get the setup of the show accomplished. Pilot episodes can often suffer from the time constraints and the pressure to be picked up for the first season. Not easy off of one regular length, introductory episode. That being said, I'm glad you enjoyed it. ❤️Eliot
