I got a few suggestions for some creepy Warranyaverse monsters this time around. A few of them I think they actually meant my usual continuity where I tend to make my creepy creatures, but a few of them explicitly wanted to see some of the creepy monsters in the Warranyaverse. If people DO happen to be confused, the various bestiary entries I often make of monsters are from a different universe than the Warranyaverse. There are a few that share the universe, however for the most part lore in that setting does not carry over to the Warranyaverse and vice versa. That universe while fetishy sometimes, is more serious, while the Warranyaverse is purely for trying to fit weird kinky stuff into every bit of the universe and come up with lore as to WHY everything is so horny XD. Though there are some creepy concepts and girls occasionally die in a spectacularly gory explosion, I don't really HAVE a lot of really creepy monster lore for the Warranyaverse since it's mostly fetish fuel and a lot of the monsters are just plain silly (You'll see some more silly ones in a few days)! So In the future I'll think up some more weird monsters and interpretations for creatures in the Warranyaverse that are more creepy than silly. BUT it was requested and so here is a creepy (But still cute) Onryo ghost! Onryo ghosts are somehow something I don't have lore for yet in my mainline continuity, though I DO have a similar type of monster in the Nure-Onna and the Static Spider. But I do need a legitimate bestiary entry for an Onryo in the future. I've always wanted to make a character similar to Sadako from the Ring, and this was a good place to do so~ Should she stick around? What should we name our new soggy lil' ghostly hottie? So here's some Warranyaverse lore for Onryo ghosts! Onryo ghosts in the Warranyaverse are a specific kind of ghost. With the name coming from Japan, they are often times the spirits of women who have been wronged in life and died bitter, angry, or otherwise extremely emotional. Now this sounds like a way for ANY type of Ghost to form, however Onryo ghosts are an advanced form of Ghost and are only ever female. The Gender Neutral term for an advanced ghost is a Wraith. If a person dies with unfinished business, their soul may still linger on the material plane and they will become a spirit. Spirits, also simply known as ghosts, are much like what Jessie is. A lingering, translucent version of themselves that looks typically like they did when the person died. They always maintain the same outfit they wore when they died as well and tend to have black scelera. Their color can change on occasion depending on certain situations, though they are more often than not blue. Some may be a color that they closely associated with when they were alive however, and others may take on a color based on their emotion. These ghosts are invisible to others, and cannot typically interact with most people. They can knock things around, and float through walls, pass through people to cause a cold spot, or sometimes speak disjointed sentences through radios, phones, or televisions, but are otherwise intangible , invisible, and harmless (Though crafty ones can trip you). Most ghosts never go past this stage, simply becoming mindless wandering spirits. However if a deal is made with a devil, or some sort of spellcaster who has summoned and bound you, you can gain increased powers such as possession, increased telekinetic abilities, or even strange other mystical abilities such as we see Jessie doing. Though these are limited to and dictated by, the ability of the demon the deal was made with and often have some sort of price to be paid. These types of ghosts are called Devilbound Spirits. Ghosts who remain as ghosts for long enough, are able to kill people, or who consume enough spirit energy through consuming or destroying other spirits or feeding on people. In doing so they can become more powerful ghosts of various types. The Onryo can be formed if a normal ghost is able to feed on enough and gain new abilities, such as tangibility, allowing them to interact with the physical world for limited amounts of time. Often times the Onryo ghost is still tied to some object or place in the living world that they must use as a medium to take on their tangible form. Another example of a ghost who would technically be considered an Onryo in the Warranyaverse is Fatty Patty, though her soul has been bound to a doll permanently by Morrigan so she now is simply called an Evil doll, though she technically qualifies as well. For our example Onryo here, she seems to be tied to the television. Appearing in what appears to be some old factory or abandoned workplace. Chances are this is where she died! Onryo tend to take on qualities that involve how they died, and will often exact their revenge on others through similar methods. So our Onryo here must have gotten stuffed to bursting in some factory or abandoned business... She's also all wet and soggy so she may have been filled with some sort of liquid which caused it. Potentially she drank too much either on purpose or accidentally, or was even forced to do so through some method and did not make it... However she is also tied to this apartment and so it's most likely where she used to live... Onryo can physically interact with people as I said, and so she emerges from the television late at night and slowly stuffs girls to the brim until they're so big and fat that they could pop as she feeds on the pleasure, pain, and fear that they experience.... Through enough power gained, Onryo ghosts can get even more powerful and become different types of ghost that are higher up in the Ghost heirarchy from Ghost, to Wraith, to Phantom, and ultimately to Demon or Angel. There are some deviations of course, but this is typically how it is... Our ghost is gettin pretty big! I think she's about to reform in a second... Onryo can be defeated, but when they are, they just reform and it takes a while for them to grow their body back. When she comes back she'll likely be SUPER pissed off. When they reform they always do at their "Haunt" which can be multiple places, in which they pop back up at one of them. But it's always a place associated with their death... We also learn a little more about her. She started haunting in 1982 so she may have died in the early 80's. Also more questions like why was she naked when she died... Maybe she went skinny dipping and... ate too much... Maybe we'll have to explore how she died some time in the future... Also introduced here is the concept of the D.O.S.A. or the Department of Spiritual Affairs. The D.O.S.A. is a government organization run by powerful ghosts, reapers, demons, and angels to dictate the goings-on with various ghosts and spiritual entities. They determine where ghosts are allowed to haunt, where they go, when they do it, appear, ect. Essentially they're like the DMV or some similar government agency for ghosts... Jessie doesn't know what it is because a demon killed her and dragged her to hell, meaning Jessie is TECHNICALLY an illegally practicing Ghost who hasn't even passed the BOO (The Be-scared Occurrence Operations) Exam, which allows you to become a Spook Certified BOO agent (Be-scared occurrence operative).... Should we take Jessie on a boring trip to the D.O.S.A. In the future?
