Very True, got to make sure the trust is their. Once the trust is gone the pup will want out of it and not want to try this anymore or be with another master that would treat him as well then the one before.

You can do a lot of punishment and all that good stuff but you have to show him you care and make sure he is safe and doing alright with the kinks and the sensitivity levels are okay. If he wants more or less to build it up.
