Yes, thank you, I thought I was crazy feeling that way. It's not a bad show, but it's not giving me what I wanted and what I felt made the Addams family special. Kind of a pity, because I definitely did want more Wednesday in my life, but this just isn't quite it.

2023-04-11 19:58:15 +0000 UTCI was a little bit disappointed in the show. Mostly because The Addams family's thing was always subverting expectations. They are dark and morbid, but unlike other sitcoms families the humor and drama doesn't really come from the bickering inside the circle. The Addams family are happy. They love each other and their lives despite everyone else finding it weird. And now we have the teenage daughter rebelling against her parents in some supernatural version of mean girls. Which if fine, I don't hate it and the show clearly says Wednesday and not the Addams family, but....I wanted more Addams family. The connection. The murderous love. The family. Not -don't talk to me, I don't wanna be like you, you're ruining my life, go away, oh look a murder mystery-
