This is one of my favorites from the earlier seasons. You figured out the thing about suffering the consequences a lot faster than me. To be fair to myself, I was like 14, but still. Once again we get an episode centered about Phoebe and the concept of right and wrong/good and evil. Phoebes biggest strengths is her empathy and kindness, but the show gives us episodes like this one and the woogieman to show some duality to her character. She is the one who encouraged her sisters to get revenge in the first place. She is the one who gets possessed by the gas-version of evil and who killed someone in the future. The show explained in woogieman that the reason why Phoebe got possessed was because she was the only one born in the house, which can be a nexus for great good OR evil. And this episode gave some very good complexity to her character. Say what you want about Phoebes, but she agreed to be burned at the stake! That takes some crystal balls. With that being said,I don't care if this was 20 years ago- Someone needs to get fired over that blond wig :P
