This episode really shows just how amazing Morgan is. Like, he's stood in front of this guy who is holding a gun to a woman's head and has killed literal children and is really racist, he literally called him "half-breed" to his face, and yet Morgan actually really seemed to feel bad for him and didn't want to shoot him. He really is just such a good guy. I love him! And I love that they show that watching Emily die is still effecting him even though she's alive and well and back. Paul Johansson is great too. Gotta love him playing yet another murderous mayor character... And I totally get what you mean about cases like this and not knowing how to feel about the Unsub. Because what he did is AWFUL! He killed a baby, he killed kids, a pregnant woman, innocent people. He was super racist. And yet, when you have the full story, you just can't help but feel bad for him. He was a kid who lost his entire family to a couple of black men, and had to take care of his mother because they raped her to the point of brain damage. I don't think that excuses racism, but it certainly explains it. And on top of that, he was manipulated by someone from that moment on. Cases like this ARE really hard to watch because for me, I HAVE to hate them. I DO hate him. But that doesn't mean I don't feel awful for everything he went through to get him to that point.
