Martine doesn’t seem that robotic to me. Not when I think about how both Reese and Root act when they’re in God Mode. She’s kind of what I imagine Shaw would be like if Samaritan had recruited her.

2023-08-02 14:00:33 +0000 UTCI love this episode. So much Root screentime, so much Root development, the "deliver a message for me" that showdown at the end AND Shaw being worried about her? Fantastic. Also, the music during the shootout was fantastic. I do hate the Samaritan agent though. Like you said, there's no need for her to act like a terminator character. She feels cartoonishly evil to me, like most of Decima. Imo the first time a villain on the show didn't feel in any way human. Like, why did she shoot the receptionist? There was no reason for that :D
