Sadly I do not have a new build available to download today as I've still got some work I would like to do before sharing it!

JEL'S CAFE PROGRESS
Player Customisation:
I began work on the Player Customisation system, as of right now you can choose from two body types, A and B. The sprites are slightly unfinished and I would like to allow for much greater customisation in the future, like hair and clothing.
Passive income:
Jel-e, Bliss and Phoebe now all generate money once a day, the value they each provide is dependant on their friendship levels. This should hopefully make the game feel a little bit less grindy and helps with buying upgrades and gift items.
Food and Gift Items:
Jel's food options has been greatly expanded, before customers could order a total of 5 possible items, in this new build and going forward there are now 8 different food items AND there are now also 4 drink items, drink items are always included with a food item to create a meal. This means customers now have a possibility of 40 different items they could order, for example, a customer could want Food number 3 and drink number 2! This now means the food process requires a lot more memory from the player, as getting the orders wrong still provides no benefit. This new system is still being applied to all of the customers, which is why the new build has been delayed until next week.
In addition to this change, ordering food from Jel-e now costs a small fee. $9 at the base level if a drink is included, and $6 if there is no drink, customers also pay more depending on if a drink is included or not.
Phoebe's gift items now also cost $35 at their base level instead of $30, however to make sure this change isn't only a negative addition, giving customers the wrong gifts now also increase the fullness stat by a very small ammount.
Phoebe and Jel also now have checks in place to make sure the player actually has the money to purchase food and gifts.
Upgrades:
The Price Reduction upgrade and Potency Upgrade that can be purchased from Marco and Paul have now been fully implemented. The price reduction upgrade can be purchased twice with each upgrade decreasing the cost of gifts and food items (Saving you money!). The Potency upgrade can also be purchased twice and increases how much the fullness and friendship stats increase by.
The 4th seat upgrade and office upgrades still currently do not have a function as of right now, but they will be implemented once conditions have been met!
Alley Market:
A small quality of life change has been made to the Alley market area, you are no longer forced to go home after interacting with "Rat", and now exiting via the alley gives you the option to visit the prop shop and upgrade shop in addition to heading home!
This just makes the game a little more convienent to play, as you can now purchase gift items to give to the shopping vendors. I do plan on also including Phoebe in the end of day area so you can also still purchase regular gifts from her before heading to a shop, though this hasn't been added just yet!
Lastly before I sign off, some bug fixes!
- Fixed the game crashing whilst trying to load customers (Caused by accidental code).
- Fixed some instances where the player would fail to hide sprites when talking to characters.
- Fixed Gift item number 6 not functioning correctly with Jel-e.
That should be everything for now! I'll continue working on the new food system, and any other new developments over the next week, and version 0.05a should hopefully be ready by then too!
