They've got money and they love to spend it, specifically on entourages. If you run an efreet, make sure they are rolling DEEP.
The basic efreet will light you on fire, then make you regret standing near him while on fire. He can raise walls of flames, and teleport through flames. Once you're unconscious, he'll pat you out and press-gang you and your buddies into whatever planar nonsense he'd like an adventurer for, because efreets never waste good help.
The fireblade is similar, except that he's got a dancing sword that just boomerangs around the room nonstop. He fights like someone who's on fire and knows it, who doesn't really know how to use this sword but doesn't need to.
