Added 2022-04-08 18:00:06 +0000 UTCThe sica is sort of halfway between a dagger and a shortsword, a blade specifically designed to hook around and stab someone hiding behind a shield. The first recorded organized group of assassins were the Sicarii, who were named after the sica they used when killing politicians mid-speech.
Anyways, on to mechanics. The assassin is good at killing exactly one person, making sure they stay dead, then running away. It's your classic "kill a regular dude with a bunch of bodyguards" assassin. If you want to kill a powerful wizard though, you can't go wrong with the mageslayer, whose Limited Magic Immunity and Spell Denial make him an absolute nightmare when he shows up in your archmage's breakfast nook.
