Spectators
Added 2022-06-13 18:00:05 +0000 UTCI don't have the slightest clue of how spectators fit in with the rest of the beholder crew, but I love how weird they are. They're from Mechanus where they hang with Modrons just being goofy and waiting for someone to summon them so they can guard something. As they approach a thousand years of age, each of their eye stalks grows four tinier eyestalks out of it, then for the next thousand years they age in reverse until they just pop out of existence.
They reproduce by budding when they die, like succulents. Each eye tears free and flies out into the world.
