Hmmm. See that comment from me above, from two months ago? That was me being disappointed that you weren't reacting to the movie (which I love). I had no plan to watch this series because I like canon and all the changes seemed pointless. But I heard recently that Anne Rice herself was involved in the show and that made me curious. I've been a fan of the books for many years. (I spoke to her on the phone once, but that's a long story). So I decided to watch. When I realized that Eric Bogosian was playing a much older version of the role Christian Slater played thirty years ago (and had a scar on his neck from where Lestat bit him!) I was pretty much in. Yeah, great acting. Strong emotions, characters you care about. Pretty damn cool. Did you know Anne Rice once described herself as a gay man in a woman's body?
