First, you may have noticed already, but I think there might have been a mix up and the wrong title was put here. The title of this episode is "The Shallow in the Deep." Second, I think you misunderstood Cam's storyline a little bit. Her great-grandmother wasn't on the ship; the ship is way too old for that, but one of the passengers happened to have the same first name as her great-grandmother, and so it just made things a bit more difficult for her, along with the fact that she's black and this is, of course, a part of her history unfortunately.
